Oven Kit with Mini Whoopie Pie and Chocolate Truffle Mixes

★★★★☆4.2 out of 582 ratings

Star Edition oven with the two chocolate-heavy refills: Mini Whoopie Pie and Chocolate Truffle.

If the household votes chocolate, this is the kit. The Star Edition oven arrives with its own brownie mix, vanilla frosting and rainbow sugar crystals, then two refills stack on top of that: Mini Whoopie Pies and the Chocolate Truffle pack with its devil's food cake mixes, chocolate frosting and nonpareils.

It is a deep set rather than a wide one — almost everything in the carton bakes brown and gets frosted — so we would not send it to a kid who wants pizza. For a chocolate baker it is roughly six sessions before anything needs reordering.

What is in the box

• Baking Star Ultimate Oven
• Baking pan and pan tool
• Chocolate brownie mix and vanilla frosting
• Rainbow sugar crystals
• Mini Whoopie Pie refill
• Chocolate Truffle refill with nonpareils

The truffle pack carries two cake mixes and two frosting mixes, so it outlasts the single-flavor refills.
