Ultimate Oven Baking Star Super Treat Edition

★★★★☆4.2 out of 53,908 ratings

The oven we hand to a first-time baker who wants three mixes in the box on day one.

This is the Super Treat edition of the Easy Bake Ultimate Oven, and it is the one we reach for when a kid has never baked anything alone. Three refill mixes travel in the carton, so the first batch happens the same afternoon the box is opened — no shopping trip between unwrapping and the smell of warm cake. The heating chamber takes a small pan, the pan tool pushes it in and pulls it out, and the printed instructions walk a reader through one tray at a time.

We like it for ages eight and up because the steps reward patience: measure, stir with a little water, slide the pan in, wait, slide it out. Nothing about it is fast, and that is the point. Adult supervision stays on the list — the chamber gets hot and the pan comes out hot — but the baking itself belongs to the kid holding the spatula.

What is in the box

• Ultimate Oven body with heating chamber
• Baking pan and pan tool
• Spatula
• Three refill mixes
• Printed baking instructions

Works with any Ultimate Oven refill mix, so the three in the carton are a start rather than the whole run.

From the carton

• Oven comes with baking pan, pan tool, spatula, and instructions.
• Adult supervision required. No assembly required
• Oven works with any Easy-Bake Ultimate Oven mixes (sold separately)
• Life Is Sweeter With Easy-Bake

A note from a baker who owns it

Daughters Christmas list item

This was the one thing my daughter wanted for Christmas but during the holidays they were out of stock everywhere. When they finally became available again I got it for her and she was so excited to make her daddy mini whoopie pies. We unboxed it and got straight to cooking. The oven was a lot of fun for both her and I.
