Whoopie pies are two soft rounds with frosting in the middle, and they are the most satisfying thing a small oven makes: no slicing, no layering, just a sandwich that holds together in one hand. The refill carries the chocolate brownie mixes and the vanilla frosting that goes between them.

Around five and a half ounces of mix in the pack, which works out to several minutes of baking and a tray of mini pies. It is the refill we recommend for a kid who likes assembling things as much as baking them.
